Jonathan Zorn, is the Owner and President of Wrightcraft Custom Woodworking Inc. In 2017—just three years after graduating from the Woodworking Technology program at Conestoga College—Jonathan acquired the small woodworking shop at 10 Dumart Place in Kitchener. At just 25 years old, he stepped up to the challenge of business ownership with immense drive. To better serve his rapidly growing business, he expanded operations in 2025 by moving the shop to a larger facility in Guelph, where he now leads the Woodworking team.
Jonathan’s dedication to his trade, creative design sense, and deep passion for woodworking ensure that every custom piece meets or exceeds client expectations. His meticulous attention to detail is the driving force behind Wrightcraft’s high standards of craftsmanship.
Outside the shop, Jonathan has channeled his creative imagination into engineering elaborate, fully operational roller coasters using K’Nex. During his time at Dumart Place, he designed and built the Colossal Racer, which spanned the entire length of the shop and stands as his largest and most complex project to date. While his primary focus is now entirely on running the expanded Guelph facility, these impressive past builds won multiple design contests, featured on YouTube or ss.coasters.net, and one was even selected for a public exhibition display at Kitchener’s THEMUSEUM.
Whether shaping premium wood or engineering with intricate plastic rods and connectors, Jonathan’s innovative vision allows him to design and build just about anything.
